How much does it cost to paint the interior of a house in Las Vegas?
A full interior repaint in the Las Vegas Valley runs $2,150 to $13,000+, depending on the size of the home and how much you include beyond the walls. A single bedroom runs $350 to $550. The spread is wide because “interior painting” means very different scopes — walls only in a 1,100 sq ft condo is a completely different job than walls, ceilings, trim and doors in a 3,000 sq ft two-story with vaulted ceilings.
Our base pricing covers wall surfaces. Ceilings, trim, baseboards and doors are quoted as separate line items so you can see exactly what each one costs and decide what is worth it. Every quote is itemized before you commit.
Typical interior repaint price ranges in Las Vegas
Real ranges for real Las Vegas homes. The low end is walls only; the high end is everything top to bottom — walls, ceilings, trim and doors. Your written quote is exact and itemized.
Walls only up to everything top to bottom
Most Las Vegas single-family homes
Two-story, vaults, open stairwells
Ranges assume sound drywall. Significant patching, texture matching, wallpaper removal or popcorn ceiling removal is quoted separately.
Cost to paint a single room in Las Vegas
You do not have to do the whole house. Single rooms and accent walls are some of our most common jobs — and the fastest way to make a space feel new.
Roughly 10×12, 8 ft ceiling
Larger footprint, often higher ceiling
Open plan prices toward the low end
Single-story hallway and staircase

What the add-ons cost
Ballpark figures so you can budget before the estimate. Exact numbers come on your written quote.
| Add-on | How we price it | Typical range |
|---|---|---|
| Ceilings | Per sq ft of ceiling area | $1 – $2 / sq ft |
| Vaulted & two-story ceilings | Per sq ft — staging and height | Above $2 / sq ft |
| Trim & baseboards | Per linear foot | $1 – $2 / linear ft |
| Interior doors | Per door, frame and jamb included | $75 – $150 each |
| Drywall & texture repair | Quoted per condition after walk-through | Varies |
Why we do it this way: bundling everything into one number is how homeowners get surprised. Separating it means you can add ceilings, skip the doors, and know precisely what each choice costs before you sign.
Choosing Your Sherwin-Williams Interior Paint
The paint line is a small share of the total price but a large share of how the job holds up. Here are the three we recommend for Las Vegas homes and who each one is right for.
SuperPaint Interior
- Strong coverage in one to two coats
- Holds color well in bright Vegas light
- Best price-to-performance on the shelf
- Less washable than the premium lines
Cashmere Interior
- Levels out to a glass-smooth surface
- Hides roller marks and minor wall texture
- Rich, deep color depth
- Costs more than SuperPaint
Duration Home
- Scrubs clean without burnishing the finish
- Stands up to kids, pets and daily traffic
- Built-in stain and moisture resistance
- Highest material cost of the three
The 5 things that decide your interior painting price
1. Square footage & room count
The single biggest driver. More wall area means more material and more labor hours. Open-concept homes often price lower per square foot than chopped-up floor plans with the same footage, because there are fewer corners, doors and cut-ins to work around.
2. Walls only vs. ceilings and trim
Adding ceilings can raise a whole-home quote meaningfully — ceilings are slow, overhead work. Trim, baseboards and doors are detail work billed by the linear foot or unit. This is why we itemize: it is the clearest place to control your budget.
3. Ceiling height, vaults and stairwells
Standard 8–9 ft ceilings price normally. Vaulted great rooms, two-story entries and open stairwells require staging, ladders and extra safety time. Two-story homes with an open stairwell are the most common reason a quote comes in above the ballpark.
4. Wall condition & drywall repair
Nail holes and small dings are included. Cracks, water stains, anchor damage, failed texture and old wallpaper glue all need repair and texture matching before paint. Las Vegas homes with settling cracks around windows and doors are common — we flag every one at the estimate, in writing.
5. Color change & number of colors
Repainting a similar shade often covers in two coats. Going from a deep accent color to a light neutral — or the reverse — can require a primer coat plus two finish coats. Multiple colors per room also adds cut-in time.
Bonus: occupied vs. empty
An empty home paints faster and cheaper. In an occupied home we move and cover furniture, work room by room, and protect flooring throughout. Most families stay in the home comfortably while we work — we use low-VOC products and ventilate as we go.

| Option | Relative cost | Timeline | Best when… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single room or accent wall | $ | 1 day | One space needs a refresh or a new color |
| Walls throughout the home | $$$ | 2–4 days | Whole-home color change, move-in or pre-sale |
| Walls + ceilings | $$$$ | 3–5 days | Ceilings are stained, yellowed or never painted |
| Full interior — walls, ceilings, trim & doors | $$$$$ | 5–8 days | Complete transformation, top-to-bottom |

Repaint every 5–7 years vs. waiting it out
Repaint on a normal cycle
- Walls still sound — light patching only
- Two coats cover cleanly
- 2–4 days, in and out
- Home shows better and appraises better
Wait until walls fail
- Cracks, anchor damage and stains need real repair
- Texture matching adds days to the schedule
- Smoke, grease and pet stains need stain-blocking primer
- Repair labor is the expensive part — not the paint
- Quoted per condition after we see the walls
Interior painting FAQ
How much does it cost to paint the interior of a house in Las Vegas?
Most Las Vegas homeowners pay $2,150 to $13,000 for a full interior repaint. A home under 1,200 sq ft typically runs $2,150–$4,000; a 1,200–2,500 sq ft home runs $3,500–$6,000; and 2,500+ sq ft homes run $6,000–$13,000 or more. The low end of each range is walls only; the high end is everything top to bottom including ceilings, trim and doors.
How much does it cost to paint one room in Las Vegas?
A standard bedroom — about 10×12 with an 8 ft ceiling, walls only — runs $350 to $550. A single accent wall runs $150 to $250. Larger rooms, vaulted ceilings and rooms needing drywall repair price higher. Single-room estimates are free.
Is ceiling painting included in the price?
No. Our base interior price covers wall surfaces. Ceilings are quoted separately because they are slow overhead work and many homeowners do not need them done. Budget roughly $1 to $2 per square foot of ceiling area; vaulted and two-story ceilings price above that because of staging and height. You will see the exact figure on your written quote.
Do you paint trim, baseboards and doors?
Yes, priced separately from walls. Trim and baseboards run roughly $1 to $2 per linear foot, and interior doors $75 to $150 each including the frame and jamb. You can add all of it, some of it, or none of it. Trim is the most common add-on and it makes the biggest visual difference alongside fresh walls.
How much does it cost to paint a living room or master bedroom in Las Vegas?
A living or family room runs $500 to $800 and a master bedroom $550 to $800, walls only with a standard ceiling. A hallway plus stairwell runs $450 to $750 — two-story open stairwells price at the top of that range because of the staging required.
How long does interior painting take?
A single room is a one-day job. Walls throughout a typical Las Vegas home takes 2 to 4 days. Adding ceilings pushes it to 3 to 5 days, and a full interior with walls, ceilings, trim and doors runs 5 to 8 days. You get an exact timeline with your estimate and we hold to it.
Do I need to move out or move my furniture?
No on both counts. We move and cover furniture for you and agree on a plan for large or fragile items at the estimate. We use premium low-VOC Sherwin-Williams paints and ventilate as we work, so most families stay in the home comfortably and we work room by room around your schedule.
Which Sherwin-Williams paint should I choose?
SuperPaint is the all-around value choice for bedrooms and low-traffic rooms. Cashmere levels out to the smoothest finish and is worth it in living and dining rooms. Duration Home is the most durable and scrubbable — the right call for hallways, kids’ rooms and busy family homes. We’ll recommend per room rather than blanketing the whole house in one product.
Why are some interior painting quotes so much cheaper?
Almost always one of three reasons: thinner or single-coat application, prep skipped or rushed, or an unlicensed and uninsured crew. Prep is the majority of the labor on a proper interior job. If a quote is dramatically under the ranges on this page, ask what is being left out — and ask to see the license and insurance.
Do you offer a warranty on interior painting?
Yes. Every interior job is backed by a 5-year written warranty on workmanship. We are licensed and insured in Nevada and have been family-owned and operating in the Las Vegas Valley since 2011.
What areas do you serve?
The entire Las Vegas Valley — Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Centennial Hills, Mountain’s Edge, Spring Valley, Enterprise and Silverado Ranch. See all service areas.
